Nkondi is a short animation set in the Congo, and merges traditional oral
incantation
and storytelling with the mysticism of animism to spark a narrative of defiance.
Named after the Nkondi,powerful mystical statuettes of the Kongo people,
the film re-imagines this "hunter" of wrongdoers,as a ferocious force of
resistance against oppression.
Through the spirit of ancestors as a guiding light,the film confronts the chains of
neo-colonialism, igniting hope and reclaiming Africa's future.
Blending tradition with innovation, this tale celebrates the enduring strength of heritage in
breaking
oppression and shaping liberation.
